Very little. Digital sensors use up to 90% less radiation than film, and a set of bitewing X-rays is roughly equal to a day of the natural background radiation we all receive.
No. The wand is about the size of a toothbrush head and there is no impression material. Most scans take a few minutes.
No. They are included with every check-up. If a treatment such as an implant needs an additional scan, it is shown on your written estimate.
