What to expect afterwards
Most patients see a clear change after one session. The shade settles over about 48 hours and typically lasts one to three years, depending on diet and habits. Top-up gel in your custom trays keeps it fresh.
Aftercare
For 48 hours, avoid strongly coloured food and drink such as coffee, red wine, curry and berries.
Some sensitivity for a day or two is normal. A toothpaste for sensitive teeth helps.
Avoid smoking, which quickly re-stains freshly whitened enamel.
Use your custom trays for a top-up night or two every few months.
